31 Miles Lake (Lac des Trente et un Milles)

Water skiing on Mackenzie Bay, 31 Miles Lake (lac des trente et un milles) during the summer, Bouchette, Quebec

31 Miles Lake is a very large lake known for its clear water and its abundance of fish: namely the Northern Pike, Lake Trout, Bass, Whitefish, and others.

It stretches from Point-Comfort (south) to Ste-Therese-de-Gatineau (north). The vast majority of the shoreline is still undeveloped and in its natural, pristine state.

The lake boasts dozens of islands, bays, and waterfalls. It is a lake, but feels like an inland sea. It's a swimming, fishing, hunting, sailing, canoeing, kayaking, scuba diving, and boating paradise.
